Art Nouveau emerged in the late 19th century and reached its peak in the early 20th century, roughly from 1890 to 1910.

It is characterized with Organic Forms inspired by nature, such as vines, flowers, and other natural elements but also it embraced curvilinear lines and asymmetry. Elaborate ornamentation and decorative details were prominent, often integrated into the overall design, and artists explored new materials and techniques, incorporating iron, glass, ceramics, and other innovative materials into their creations.

Art Deco gained popularity in the 1920s and 1930s, reaching its height during the interwar period. It is characterized by geometric shapes, sharp lines, and symmetry. It conveys a sense of modernity and progress with wleek form. Art Deco is associated with luxury, glamour, and a sense of optimism. It often uses expensive materials like chrome, glass, and precious metals. The movement drew inspiration from the technological advances of the time, including aviation, machinery, and the decorative arts of ancient cultures.
