Walk live streaming: Opéra District and the place Vendôme

Subject of the visit

The area around the Opera Garnier became a hub of culture, drawing artists, intellectuals, and the Parisian elite. The opera house’s grandeur and association with high society contributed to the district’s prestige. In the 20th century, the district retained its cultural significance. It was witness to various historical events and continued to be a symbol of Parisian elegance.

To feel that, we will walk to Place Vendôme, which was initially laid out in the early 17th century as part of a royal square designed by Louis XIV’s chief architect, Jules Hardouin-Mansart.
