General sales terms

We organise guided tours, hereafter referred to as “guided tours”. Walking or virtual tours

Any person taking part in one of the guided tours is hereinafter referred to as a “customer”, whether he has made the reservation himself or someone (natural or legal person) has made it for him.

Guided tours are led by a guide, hereinafter referred to as the “guide”.

Reservation and participation in our visits imply unreserved acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale.

  1. Cancellation terms

Guided tours take place whatever the weather conditions. The customer is requested to adapt his or her clothing to the weather conditions on the day of the visit.
Le Paris de Patrick” reserves the right to cancel one of its visits in the event of force majeure, sudden and unforeseeable unavailability of the guide, or in the event of an insufficient number of participants. In the event of cancellation at our initiative, we will notify the participants concerned by e-mail (via the contact e-mail provided by the client at the time of booking). They will be offered the opportunity to postpone their visit to other times and, if necessary, we will proceed to a full refund.
The customer can change the tour time at no charge up to 7 calendar days before the day of the guided tour (the departure time of the tour being taken as a reference).
In the event of a request for a change of date within this time limit, the reservation will be changed to another visit slot subject to availability.
Beyond this notice period of 7 calendar days, if cancelation is made 48h before the tour 50% will be charged and 50% refund, If cancelation is made within 48h no refund will be made
No refund will be made in the event of the Client’s absence at the place and time of departure of the guided tour. Likewise, the Client must arrive at the time indicated on his/her confirmation e-mail. No refund will be made in case of later arrival at the departure point of the group from the starting point of the guided tour.
Guided tours are on foot. By making a reservation, the client declares for himself and the other participants concerned by his reservation, to be able to follow a group at a normal pace.
The guide leading the guided tours may decide for the safety of the group (alcoholic customer, not respecting safety rules, etc…), to ask one or more customers not to take part, or to leave the group during the guided tour. The client(s) concerned must do so without discussion.
A client thus rejected by the guide will not be able to claim any refund.

2. Security

The client must show respect for the guide and the other participants in the guided tour. Before departure, the guide will give safety instructions to be followed throughout the guided tour. The client undertakes to respect them scrupulously throughout the guided tour. During the guided tour, the client undertakes to listen to the instructions given by the guide, whether verbal or not (signs made with the hands, etc…). Throughout the duration of the guided tour, the client undertakes to respect the French highway code, in particular the respect of traffic lights, pedestrian crossings, etc… It is forbidden to move away from the group during the guided tour, except in case of necessity linked to the safety of all or part of the group or of others, or at the express request of the guide.
The client will be entirely responsible if he or she finds himself or herself in a situation where he or she is in breach of French law and road safety.
By booking a guided tour, the client:
– Accepts that any accident that may occur while taking part in the guided tour that may injure or handicap him/her (this includes physical, emotional or mental harm) is in no way the responsibility of “Le Paris de Patrick”.
– Accepts full responsibility for any accident it may cause to others during a guided tour.
– Declares that he or she is the holder of a civil liability insurance policy.
“Le Paris de Patrick” has taken out a professional civil liability insurance policy with the mutual insurance company of Poitiers.

3. Personal items

“Le Paris de Patrick” cannot be held responsible for any loss or deterioration of the customer’s personal effects. The client is entirely responsible for his personal effects during the guided tour.
In order to enjoy the guided tour in the best possible conditions, the client is invited to come only with the bare necessities. In fact, no personal objects of any kind may be kept during the guided tour.
The parents or legal representatives of any minor taking part in the guided tour will be held responsible for any damage caused directly or indirectly by the latter.

4. Miscelaneous

Any recording or photograph taken by a representative of “Le Paris de Patrick” during participation in the guided tour may be used for promotional purposes. By simple written request, the client can ask by email at patrick.herpe13@gmail.com to have a publication in which he or she appears removed. Under no circumstances can the customer claim any financial compensation.

5. Privacy

he content and structure of the guided tours are protected.
In particular, it is strictly forbidden to reproduce, film and record all or part of the content of the guided tours by any means whatsoever.
Any reproduction, representation or distribution, in whole or in part, of the content of the guided tours, of any of their elements (texts, anecdotes, places visited, etc.) or of the circuit travelled for any commercial or promotional purposes, by any means whatsoever and on any medium whatsoever, is prohibited.
Failure to comply with these prohibitions may result in the termination of the guided tour for the offending client without any reimbursement being due “Le Paris de Patrick” and may also engage its liability.
These terms and conditions are subject to French law. Any dispute relating to their execution and their consequences will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Paris to which the Parties expressly attribute jurisdiction, including in the case of summary proceedings, guarantee appeals or multiple defendants.
