All Users declare that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions before using the Application. If the User disagrees with one or more of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions, they are requested not to use the Application.

2. Reservation and confirmation
The reservation is effective after a 50% deposit and confirmation by email.
When purchasing tickets for museums, transportation services, etc., either the customer pays for them themselves or the guide purchases them, in which case the customer must pay 100% of the corresponding amounts at the time of booking.

3. Prices and payment

4. Cancellation and refunds
4.1 Cancellation by the customer:
- Full refund if canceled 15 days before the date of the service.
- Deposits will be retained if canceled between 15 days and 4 days before the date of the service.
- If the customer cancels less than 4 days before the service or does not show up at the place and time of departure for the tour, they agree to pay for the entire service ordered.
4.2 Cancellation by the organizer:
- full refund of deposits paid or proposal of an alternative date
4.3 Cancellation due to external causes:
- extreme weather, strikes, health restrictions, etc. The first 30% deposit will be retained and an alternative date will be offered.

5. Changes by the customer
Any changes to reservations are subject to availability and may incur additional charges
In the event that these changes make it impossible for the guide to provide the service (unavailability, closed museums, etc.), the rules in point 4. Cancellation and refunds apply.

6. Responsibilities
The customer must follow the guide’s instructions. The organizer declines all responsibility in the event of accidents resulting from reckless behavior.
The organizer is insured for professional liability.
By booking a guided tour, the customer:
- Accepts that any accident that may occur while participating in the guided tour that could injure or disable them (including physical, emotional, or mental harm) is in no way the responsibility of Connecting-U
- Accepts full responsibility for any accident they may cause to others during a guided tour.
- Declares that they hold a civil liability insurance policy.
Connecting-U cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to the customer’s personal belongings. The customer is fully responsible for their personal belongings during the guided tour.
In order to enjoy the guided tour in the best possible conditions, the customer is invited to bring only what is strictly necessary. No personal items of any kind may be stored during the guided tour.
The parents or legal guardians of any minor participating in the guided tour will be held responsible for any damage caused directly or indirectly by the minor.

7. Special conditions

8. Health
The customer shall inform the organizer of any relevant medical conditions. Certain tours may not be suitable for people with reduced mobility.

9. Security:
The guide supervising the guided tours may decide, for the safety of the group (customer under the influence of alcohol, not complying with safety rules, etc.), to ask one or more customers not to take part, or to leave the group during the guided tour. A customer thus excluded by the guide will not be entitled to any refund.
The customer must be respectful towards the guide and other participants in the guided tour. Before departure, the guide will give safety instructions to be followed throughout the guided tour. The customer undertakes to comply with these instructions strictly throughout the guided tour.
During the guided tour, the customer undertakes to listen to the instructions given by the guide, whether verbal or non-verbal (hand signals, etc.). Throughout the guided tour, the customer agrees to comply with French traffic regulations, in particular with regard to traffic lights, pedestrian crossings, etc. It is forbidden to leave the group during the guided tour, except in cases of necessity related to the safety of all or part of the group or others, or at the express request of the guide.
The customer will be fully liable if they find themselves in a situation that constitutes a violation of French law and road safety regulations.

10. Intellectual property & images
The organizer may take photos/videos during the tour; unless otherwise specified in writing, these may be used for promotional purposes.

12. Complaints
Any complaints must be sent in writing within two days of the service.
